Informative, entertaining and poignant This was my second tour with Lucia (the first was so good we just had to do another one). In this tour she guided us around the Jewish Ghettos explaining in a both entertaining but poignant way about the history of the place. She pointed out things that we would never have seen otherwise. Her enthusiasm for the place is infectious.

She even helped me by advising on my transportation related questions in advance of our travel to Venice. Lucia is super enthusiastic, witty and knowledgeable. She was full of interesting stories and a consummate professional. Her English is easy to understand, and she paces her tour perfectly. I only wished I had pre-booked her for additional Venice tours while we were visiting this special city!

Lucia was absolutely amazing! She was so informative and made sure we had a great tour of Venice. She took us to out of the way places, away from the crowds, so we could get a true feel for this beautiful city. She is a native Venetian and her love and passion for the city was so evident! We spent the whole day with her and wish she could have stayed with us for our entire 3 day stay there! Definitely well worth the money for this private tour. Lucia is a true gem!

Just a wonderful view into life in the Jewish ghetto as it was and how that area is transformed today Lucia was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Jewish quarter and Venice. I loved this walk through the old Jewish ghetto. We saw the only kosher bakery in Venice and tried some traditional cookies. Lucia took us to see a gallery with art based around this area and we spoke to the artist. We heard about the life the Jewish people lived in the ghetto all those years ago. How there was a strong community despite all the adversity. I came away thinking about those people and what they went through. Lucia also showed us the area as it is today with a real vibe and energy. I would definitely recommend this tour.
