Immerse yourself in the real Venice and enjoy my Venice off the beaten track, we will visit Dorsoduro and San Marco hidden gems.
Discover unique secrets and hidden gems of Venice with an art historian. A unique walk, far from the beaten paths and from the most touristic areas to discover the essence and secrets of my Venice! I have selected for you the best calli (typical narrow streets) and alternative routes that lead to hidden treasures and that only locals know. We will discover together the Venice of the Venetians, we will cross historical bridges to enjoy unique views and we will even reach a hidden garden!
A few quick quizzes or riddles and even challenges await you, be ready to immerse yourself in the Venetian spirit!
We will meet in Campo San Barnaba at the well in front of the church, a place of legends and cinematographic enterprises. We will discover “life on the water” and a unique floating market. We will immerse ourselves in the dorsoduro district, the most artistic of the floating city, with its palaces, churches full of charm and architectural elements of rare beauty! We will end our experience in San Marco’s district discovering something you can’t imagine: the door symbol of the city and mysterious practise connected to a magic potion that every family had in Venice during the ancient time of the Serenissima Republic !

Lucia is a perfect storyteller and very kind person. Thanks to her I liked Venice much more.
Lucia was an amazing guide for this tour, very engaging and knowledgeable as she walks you down the less-traveled alleys of Venice exploring both history and modern life in the city. Lucia made the hours fly by with her humor and insight, and as a local she had plenty of recommendations and advice for everyone in our group. We can’t recommend this tour enough!
Lucia was OUTSTANDING! Her knowledge was second to none. She is clearly passionate about the landmarks she showed us. In all of our travels, I truly rank Lucia as one of our top tour guides. Thank you Lucia for everything!
For anyone who are tired of being part of the dense tourist crowds walking from Rialto bridge to Piazza San Marco and back I would strongly recommend taking a walking tour with Lucia in Dorsoduro. She is a very knowledgeable and extremely nice guide who showed us unique places in Venice without typical tourists traffic. It’s hard to believe but at some point, we found ourselves in completely empty streets and bridges in Venice which was a very special experience. It was tremendously interesting and very enjoyable experience.
High performance guide, lots of details during the visit. Very attentive to its audience. Even goes as far as to give us addresses outside the visit. Excellent!!

It was once again a beautiful experience to immerse yourself in the history of this unique and wonderful city. Lucia guided us again lightly but attentive and friendly with stories and anecdotes that will stay with us forever! We were able to understand and learn many aspects that normally escape, many details that hide pieces of history and unexpected connections to daily life and the peculiarities of Venice, super recommended!
